Monroe lives in the channels you already use, works through the tools you already pay for, and shows its work after every run. No new dashboard to babysit. No surprise bills. No black box.
Every OM you can’t get to is a deal you never bid on.
Deal flow is capped by headcount, so most of what lands gets passed on unread, and the analysts you do have spend their day on the grind instead of the judgment. Monroe is built to lift that ceiling. Here is exactly how it works.
01/Channels
In your channels, not another tab.
Monroe is a native employee in Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email. Connect a chat channel from the dashboard’s Channels page, or skip the install: every workspace gets its own Monroe email address to CC or forward deals to. Hire it in #acquisitions, give it a thread, walk away. Approvals happen in-channel. Monroe pauses before anything sensitive executes.

02/The work
Real work, not just answers.
Monroe underwrites the deal inside your own Excel model, every formula intact: cap rate, NOI, DSCR, IRR. It reads the rent roll, flags the risks, drafts the IC memo into your template, and hands back a finished, editable deck and PDF, checked for broken formulas before it ships. The work arrives in your thread; the run is logged in your dashboard.

03/Access
Through your tools, scoped to what you approve.
OAuth into Drive, Box, HubSpot, Notion, Dropbox, Calendar. Per-folder, per-channel, per-workspace scoping. We never see what you didn’t share. Connector permissions are visible in the dashboard at all times.
04/Spend cap
A spend cap that actually stops things.
Set $500/month. The cap is checked before every run, your dashboard shows live usage plus a forecast that flags when you’re on track to exceed, and at 100% Monroe pauses the workspace. There is no path where an agent silently burns through your card.
This month
$120.00 / $500 cap
Forecast ~68% by month-end · checked before every run, pauses at 100%
05/Audit
A record of every run.
Every run is logged in your dashboard: who asked, which channel it ran in, and when, next to a live credit meter and a daily usage breakdown, reconciled against the cloud’s own usage logs so the number you see is the number you pay. Email and calendar sends stay blocked until you approve; other writes are presented in-channel first.

06/Memory
Your firm's memory, not chat history.
Monroe builds your firm's memory: a connected map of the buildings, owners, deals, and leases it works on, drawn from the channels and connectors you approve. Teach it your IC-memo format or buy box once and the whole desk inherits it. Each run starts informed, and the knowledge stays when people leave.

Cover more of your pipeline, without adding a single analyst.
The underwrite, the OM screen, the rent-roll read, the comp pull: Monroe runs the first pass on all of it. With that off their plate, the same headcount works closer through more of the pipeline, and the OMs that used to get passed on unread finally get looked at. No one gets replaced.
3,000+ tools, ready on day one.
Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email are all native channels Monroe lives in: connect a chat channel from the dashboard, or write to your workspace’s own Monroe email address. Everything else (Drive, Box, Dropbox, HubSpot, Notion, your internal tools, the long tail) connects through each tool’s own secure authorization, scoped to what you approve. Every run logged in your dashboard.
What you’ll want to know. Before you put Monroe to work.
What does Monroe actually do day-to-day?
Underwrites acquisitions from the OM, rent roll, and T-12: cap rate, NOI, DSCR, IRR. Screens OMs against your buy box from #deal-flow. Drafts IC memos into your template. Pulls sale + rent comps before a call. The finished work lands in your thread, and every run is logged in your dashboard.
How is this different from ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot?
Those are answer engines. Monroe is an employee. It lives in Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email, holds OAuth into your real tools, and ships completed work, not chat replies you have to copy-paste somewhere. The same job done in ChatGPT is 15 minutes of you driving; in Monroe it is one run and the finished work in your thread.
Does Monroe replace my team?
No. It absorbs the analyst grind your team does between the work that matters: the first-pass underwrite, the OM screen, the rent-roll read, the comp pull. Your analysts spend their day on judgment instead of data entry. Nobody gets fired; people stop doing the work they hate.
What happens when Monroe makes a mistake?
Its work happens in the open, in the channel where the run started, and every run is logged in your dashboard, so there is a record of what ran and when. Sensitive actions wait for your explicit OK before they execute, so most mistakes get caught before they ship. When something is off, say so in-thread and Monroe corrects course like a teammate would.
Can Monroe act without my approval?
Only on the things you have allowed. Emails and calendar invites cannot go out without your OK: the runtime blocks them until someone approves in Slack or Teams, in every mode. Everything else that writes or sends (CRM updates, file and doc changes) is draft-first by Monroe’s operating rules: it presents the change in your channel and asks before acting. Reads (search Drive, query HubSpot, summarize a channel) can run unattended, and the workspace approval mode (recommended, strict, or manual) sets how much more waits for review. You pick the mode per workspace in the dashboard.
How does Monroe know my context?
From the tools you connect: Slack history in the channels you share, Drive folders you scope it to, your CRM, your models. It learns your sponsors and target markets, the shape of your IC memo, where the latest rent rolls live. The longer it runs, the less you have to spell things out.
Can I see what Monroe did?
Yes. Every run is logged in your dashboard (who asked, in which channel, when) next to a live credit meter, a daily usage breakdown, and a verified record of where every credit went. Workspace admins see every run across every channel. Nothing happens in the dark.
